'Finding Debs was
such a stroke of luck for us - with just 5 months to plan our wedding
and only the date and a shell of a venue confirmed, she guided us
through every single detail, advising us on everything from giving
notice of marriage, recommendations of catering and entertainment
suppliers, to pre-booking guest accommodation and planning table
layouts!
Her meticulous
attention to detail and experience of all the minutiae of organising
such an important day meant that nothing was forgotten or left to
chance. We were guided by her impartial advice and fantastic 'to
do' and checklists at every stage, always feeling comfortable that she
was all about making our own ideas happen. Not afraid of getting
her hands dirty Debs was to be found a day before the wedding cleaning
and duct-taping cables with the best of them! On the day, she worked
unbelievably hard with her team making our wedding the seamlessly joyful
experience you always imagine, managing staff, suppliers and guests like
an invisible guardian angel - it was just fantastic.
To those who might
be worried about whether they need or can afford professional help
organising their wedding, be assured from experience that Deb's help,
knowledge and experience are priceless. Her fees are extremely
competitive and exceptionally good value for the comprehensive and very
personal service she provides. We said it many times during the
planning and it still holds now - we could not have managed without her.
Our big day
was the relaxed, personal and truly amazing experience we'd dreamed of
for ourselves and out guests. Deb's perfect professionalism and
endless energy took us from clueless couple to happy newly-weds in just

fantastic help in assisting us with our wedding plans. Perhaps one of
the most important roles she played was putting us in touch with
recommended suppliers. These recommendations came into their own
when we experienced a problem with our original venue and one of Deb's
recommended suppliers ended up suggesting a new venue which we
ultimately went with!
It also proved a
Godsend having Debs with us on the day of the wedding itself. The
day ran so smoothly and this was entirely down to Deb's sterling

write properly and thank you for all your work in the run-up to the
wedding and on the day. The fact that it all went so smoothly, and
created just the atmosphere of elegance mixed with fun that we were
looking for, is testament to your hard work.
From the outset
you made it completely clear that you were happy to help with as much or
as little of the arrangements as we needed you to. That was great:
It was important to us that we felt comfortable doing things ourselves
where we had our own contacts or wanted to save a bit of money, and
equally throwing things at you when we ran out of time.

impressed that during our meetings here you managed to make it
completely clear that decisions were entirely up to us, but at the same
time to share your suggestions with us and tell us frankly and honestly
what you thought of ours. We really valued that: part of
what we were
looking for in a wedding organiser was advice and ideas borne from

worth every penny!
We had such a
fabulous wedding day, and without a doubt it was due to your hard work,
dilligence and fantastic organisational skills. You handled
everything (and everyone) with both charm and extreme professionalism
and gave us complete confidence that everything would turn out right -
which it did! You had truly assembled a 'dream team' of suppliers, none
of which could be bettered, and that made the whole day one we will
never forget.
The party at night
was just magical, and everything just came together so beautifully : the
colours (thank goodness), the beautiful flowers, the music, the superb
food and even the smell of sandalwood wafting everywhere (which I had a
lot of comment on!). And of course, we have the absolutely fabulous
photos, which Tony took, which have provided us with a lasting memory of
our wonderful special day.
To say that we had
lots of complimentary comments on the party would be an understatement -
I think everyone there (including some of the children) remarked on how
beautiful it all looked and how well organised it was, and I know that
was down to your hard work on the day itself (and of course the two days
prior to it). The fact that you were running things like a
military operation (in the nicest possible way) meant Vas and I were
able to sit back, relax and actually enjoy our own wedding, which meant
so much to us.
We would certainly
have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending your services to any
potential clients, and would be happy to speak to them on the phone if
required.

'Excited to be
planning our on wedding, but keen for the 'big day' itself to be as
stress-free as possible, we were lucky enough to find Debs, and 'the Big
Day'.
Having opted for
'on-the-day' coordination rather than a full planning package, we were
really impressed with the service received. Debs became involved
early on, keen to establish just what we had in mind for our special
day, and on-hand to provide tips and direction.
The
'co-ordination' began in earnest in the four weeks prior to the wedding
with Debs taking over all contact with suppliers, leaving the bride with
plenty of time to fit in a pampering session or two!!
How wonderful to
work with someone who had thought of all the details we hadn't! Who was
also willing, and able, to take on any role, (even that of feeding our
seven month old son!).
It was great to
have such peace of mind in the run up to the wedding, and Deb's
comprehensive checklists left nothing, (other than the weather!), to
chance.
The day itself
went fabulously well, and was certainly a day to remember.
Debs was available
all day, until well into the evening, and her service greatly exceeded
our expectations.

'Shortly
before the wedding just when things were getting really stressful and I
was running out of time I asked The Big Day to arrange the children's
tables for 20, 2-11 year olds. It was a relatively small request
but brought me loads of time.
All I had to do
was specify a budget and they did the rest.
They bought everything, made up party bags, collected the balloons and
arranged the tables on the day - and - came in below budget.
It was refreshing
to see an outfit willing to take on even the smallest of tasks with no
pressure for more!'

“The time we
had talking to Debs proved to be a great relief. It was extremely
