M H Wines are delighted to introduce The
Burgundy Collection, a new specialist service to the UK wine trade. The
proprietor, Mark Harrison, has had 40 years experience in all aspects of the
business and a close involvement with many burgundy producers over the
years.
What is unique about The Burgundy Collection?
Firstly, we offer selections of wines from a collection of specific growers
whom we feel best represent the typicity and respective terroirs of their
particular appellations. The wines also reflect the much-improved winemaking
techniques over the past two decades. Secondly, alongside our regular ex
cellars business with many producers, we will arrange for the collection,
shipment, and delivery of smaller orders of 12-24 cases from each estate. We
quote prices IBD (In Bond Delivered) with further quantity discounts as
shown on each page. We keep prices to an absolute minimum by eliminating
expensive bonding and redelivery charges.
Who will benefit from this new and focused
service direct from the Burgundy estates?
We hope that we will provide a
unique opportunity for smaller wine merchants, retailers, and
restaurant/hotel groups to stock a more diverse, interesting, and
reasonably-priced selection of the region’s wines for minimum additional
outlay. Those customers will benefit also from the depth of research we have
made into the production and winemaking techniques of each producer in turn.
We have also located good stocks of mature burgundies which are ideal for
current listings.
