Skin Deep Beauty

Non surgical aesthetic procedures are becoming more and more popular at high
street level. Fillers and Botox have been popular for men and women for some
time and this area of augmentation is continuing to be fashionable. Cosmetic
therapies all have their phases in popularity, and laser/light based
treatments are no exception.
Lasers and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapies are now expanding at a
fairly steady rate and are more accessible now to the general population.
You can now find laser and IPL services, for permanent hair reduction and
skin rejuvenation, in clinics across the country at reasonable prices, no
longer exclusive to those in higher income brackets.
This may in part be due to the accessibility and affordability of the
high-tech machines available on the market today, although, these machines
still require a high level of maintenance, and all users must adhere to
strict guidelines, set out by the Health Care Commission.
In
laymen's terms, this technology uses light converted into heat. The heat
then disables the target which simply falls away or is reabsorbed by the
body.
Laser and IPL treatments have been on the aesthetic market for many years
and the technology continues to improve. Some of the treatments available
today are; permanent hair reduction, skin rejuvenation for weathered and sun
damaged skin, rosacea, acne, red and blue veins, dark pigmented lesions and
tattoo removal.
